I am currently in my fourth semester of a bachelor’s degree in musicology at the Institute for Music Research at Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg (JMU). I will be starting a second bachelor’s degree in digital humanities at the Zentrum für Philologie und Digitalität (ZPD) this coming winter semester.
In my studies, I combine concepts and methodologies from the humanities and the sciences, and aim to understand music from an interdisciplinary perspective, involving fields like musicology and music theory, mathematics, music information retrieval, data science and machine learning, statistics and digital humanities.
I aim to pursue graduate studies at the intersection of musicology and artificial intelligence (Computational Humanities), with a focus on data-driven approaches to music analysis.
Selected Experience
I am currently working as a student assistant with Prof. Fabian Moss, primarily using and developing machine learning models and algorithms in the field of digital music research. Click here to learn more about our recent projects.
